Bean Club Tier Potential Changes
Added 2022-11-26 08:40:02 +0000 UTCHey everyone! Public post since I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts regarding something I've been thinking about for the Bean Club Tier; the highest tier I offer on my Patreon page!
Previously I was rewarding patrons with a discounted commission slot, essentially, limited to pinup styles, with minimal or no clothing at all, and no use of props. I'm still very much interested in offering this in the tier, however I wouldn't mind simplifying it a little more so I can get these out quicker!
My thoughts are changing it to a YCH. I was thinking of sketching out a few loose poses at the beginning of each month for the 3 patrons in the tier to choose from (there would be more than 3 options to choose from so no one's stuck with a pose they don't want). By doing this, it allows us to move past the WIP stage, since patrons would know what they're getting (though a WIP with the character sketched in will still be sent, I'll just post it directly to patron), and it would allow me to be more strict with what I'm putting out for the tier (ie. making sure the poses are falling under 'pinup style'. Not that there's been an issue with this before! I just wouldn't mind getting a little more variety in posing :3)
What's everyone's thoughts on this? I think it could be fun! A YCH to look forward to every month (: I could even work in some themes too to mix things up a little!
I'd love to launch the tier again in December, but we'll see where I'm at with my queue! I'm still catching up on owed work from September due to my accident, but I'm making progress! For sure January, if not December.

I think that's a great idea! Also, sometimes it can be hard to come up with an idea for a pose, so that issue would be solved as well with that :D
2022-11-26 17:52:05 +0000 UTCanother artist i follow used to offer a pool of 6 YCH poses to choose from for their high tier patrons to choose from each month, and ones that werent selected for a couple months were then offered to the public in a YCH auction. And new poses could always replace ones you get burned out on

I was thrilled when I first went for the Bean Tier to see you had a folder of pinup pose ideas/refs to pick from, doing YCH poses ahead of time is just the next step! I'd also agree with Camaris, it would be beneficial to have some of the YCH poses known in advance. I'd also like to put the thought out there, if it wouldn't add too much to have the 'custom' pose still available, but keep the discount you currently have on the Bean Tier be just for the YCH poses, and leave the option open to still do a non-ych pose at a lesser, or non-existent, discount? Or say, if you're still up to doing three patron slots in the Bean Tier, make two the YCH only, and leave -one- the option to chose custom poses at a reduced discount/no discount, with that one likewise a random draw among the Bean Tier winners. But just spitballing here, so if that's too much, then definitely all YCH poses is still a big winner in my book! :)
2022-11-26 16:07:21 +0000 UTCSounds good to me! Only comment I have is that from a consumer perspective might be better to sketch the YCH out before one pledges. So for example one month ahead of time, to give people time to make a decision whether they want to actually pledge or not.
