Three times I've inflicted misery upon myself.
Welcome to 2022 everyone, I hope your year has gotten off to a great start so far!
And we kick off what promises to be another fantastic year, with a two-part Wacky Weekend Special with Connor.
In today's episode, we go head to head to see if Connor can eat 100 bowls of soba noodles (without being physically sick) and in the second part - out this weekend - we head to Tokyo to stay in a truly ridiculous hotel room.

We've got plenty of awesome ideas for Wacky Weekend in 2022, hopefully including something potentially outside of Japan later in the year, so plenty to look forward to with the series!
COMPLETELY UNRELATED but many of you guys have been asking what's going on with the Ken Watanabe documentary - and rightly so! It's been a while.
I'm currently immersed in editing the video and it's taking a while as much of Ken's dialogue is in Japanese which means lots of listening on my part and plenty of subtitling.
And of course, it's not something I'm keen to rush - quality control is everything on this one. But I'm hoping it'll be out after the next Wacky Weekend episode in the next few weeks.
For now, enjoy today's video and watching Connor and I almost die at the hands of soba noodles, and I'll be back for a chat about what's coming up on Abroad in Japan in 2022 in the next few days!

Highly looking forward to the Ken Watanabe video, but really take all the time you need. Never a good thing to rush something out, we could gladly wait a few months if it means you can put in all the effort you need. I'm sure it'll be fantastic!
