So in this week's Abroad in Japan episode, Ryotaro and I hit up Asakusa in Tokyo to explore some of the more hidden, retro style places in town.
The trip actually rekindled my love for the district, which I've long written off as a "tourist trap".
Make no mistake, there's a lot of touristy shops and restaurants around, but if you know where to look and where to get lost, it's still an incredible quarter of Tokyo to spend a day or two in!
However, not everything when according to plan during our shoot. In particular a restaurant we shot at which was going to be a big part of the video, but which ultimately we ended up removing!

ALSO this week, Connor of CDawgVA fame continued his suicidal series of attempting to eat ALL OF JAPAN, this time by "forcing" me to eat every potato chip in Japan.
I felt absolutely dreadful after this shoot. Let us never speak of Connor again.

As for me, I'm off to eat something healthy. I feel an overwhelming urge to repair my body after the above video.

2021-09-18 16:08:16 +0000 UTCI had to cut out salty snacks foods and such per a doctor’s visit last week so I had to laugh and cry when the Connor crisp catastrophe video popped up. 😂 Definitely be careful with your health but it sure is fun to watch you and Connor joke around. On another note I’m working on a Christmas gift for you and the JAJ crew. If all turns out well I hope to send it off in time for the holidays. Where can you receive fan packages these days?

They're all trying to whack you slowly with excess food, dodgy love hotels, and long, arduous drives through bear infested country (hoping you run out of gasoline again), then divide the spoils amongst themselves. Heck, even Sharla and her cat are in on it. You can't trust anyone, mate - except for Natsuki, who's too pure for such plots... Maybe.
