When life throws you BS sometimes the best way to work through it is to do a little something for you.
I had a lot of fun with this and it helped not only bust through some work anxiety for me, but combat the anxiety that crops up during this personally very tough time of year.
Food for Thought
In the wake of some major art block the last while I took a week vacation, put aside the feeling of work expectations, gave myself permission to take a break by stepping away from the computer, and let my brain wander while I tended to things unrelated to art, Patreon, and social media. It was the breath of fresh air I needed.
Sometimes we forget to, or never properly think to, give ourselves permission to take time off, and risk stumbling into the pitfalls of procrastination and avoidance only to feel like we never earn those days to ourselves. We put ourselves into an mentally draining debt, always borrowing from tomorrow to begin the next day on empty.
So remember to take not just physical breaks from your obligations, guys, but mental ones too. Especially if you're self-employed.
