Trunk rattle combines Melda's free MTuner and several parallel lanes of processing with convolvers, distortion, resonators, etc. Note, if you already an older version of MTuner, please update to v17 or higher for this patch to work correctly: https://www.meldaproduction.com/MTuner
Below is a breakdown of each component:

FUZZ: percent of bright noise added ontop of incoming signal
WINDOWS: percent of Convolver that sounds like windows shaking
PANEL: percent of Convolver that sounds like door-panel shaking
SAFETY LIMITER: a basic limiter to keep output in check.

SETTINGS
IMPULSE TONE: an impulse is triggered at the rate of the sub via MTuner. The X part of the plot chooses the type of Harmonic added (7th, 12th, 19th) which gives the shake extra realism. when Y is at 0% the impulse is only playing in line with the Sub, turning upward adds the harmonic. The 🔍 button lets you hear the dry impulse sound, the +12 button changes the octave for a higher tone.
SOUND LEAK: this section is just the raw signal lowpassed and squashed with a Fruity Fast Distortion.
RATTLE TONE: this section sends the impulse into a resonator, the XY controls the resonator frequency vs feedback. The dampen knob controls the lowpass falloff of the resonator.
