Bandwidth statistics (March 2021)

A bit late this month, been busy!

The new server is coming along, I have received all parts and will now proceed to test the hardware to still be on schedule to hopefully get it into action this month!

For those interested here are the bandwidth statistics of March

In March 2021 (01-03-2021 00:00:00 CET - 31-03-2021 23:59:59 CEST) we've used 177.84 TB of bandwidth, 84.57TB received and 93.27TB transmitted.

This is a decrease of 8.6TB compared to last month's extrapolated result. I ignore the hour we skipped due to daylight savings as I don't think the precision is necessary. This value is pretty much what I expected and you will see some more details in the data below.

As the tracker becomes fuller (torrents that may not have any active seeds/peers will stay in memory because of their download counter) the cpu load per query slightly rises. This means we may run into more IP buffer overflows and less queries being successfully processed.
A few day sago I restarted the server just to get it's performance up again, this will be over after the new server is online!
