Hello you lovely lot!

I need to apologise for my absence over the last week, I have been ill with the mysterious non-flu, non-cold sickness of many random symptoms that we’re not supposed to talk about any more probably. Insomnia has been the worst of it, I have insomnia at the best of times anyway but last week it was like DOUBLE INSOMNIA which wasn’t fun.

I’m actually quite proud of myself though because what I would usually do when I get ill is try and not be ill through force of will because the voice in my soul tells me being sick is not allowed and I’m probably pretending anyway because I’m lazy or attention seeking or just a flawed person in general who should be ashamed of themselves and then I make myself even more sick until I break and can’t do anything for weeks… but this time I just rested and I got better way faster! Yay!

Obviously this was my birthday gift from the universe. Those of you who’ve been around for a while probably know that this time of year is really hard for me. I have birthday trauma, I hate my birthday, also death, deaths happened around this time of year, just not a good time. I’m doing good though so far! I’m surprising myself honestly.

So yes, I’m better now I think, I’m back to trying to work anyway! Have this arty picture I took during some phase of delirium, it’s probably not cursed. Love you!
