Surprisingly, Florida has stricter fireworks laws than other states. You can only get the kind that sit on the ground and have a shower of sparks. Nothing that shoots in the air. Gotta go to Alabama for those and there’s a big industry of fireworks stores in Alabama along the Florida and Georgia borders (same laws there). Since I grew up in Pensacola it was easy to go grab some.

2025-06-11 14:30:49 +0000 UTCAs someone who was at the Mariners 17 inning playoff game, I do not wish the 17-17 challenge on anyone as the concessions closed at the 7 innings and we all died of dehydration and lack of food.
