when i was younger and watching this show when it first came out, i didn't really look too deep into the episodes cause i was really enjoying the show. but rewatching it with you guys now, i am noticing the flaws you mentioned. i still like the show but some of the problems you pointed out are valid. there is a reason for that though. at the time this season was first released, the network had not renewed the show for another season. so the writers didn't know if this would be the last season. they didn't want to leave an incomplete story so they tried to wrap up all their loose threads in these last few episodes. that's why it feels so fast paced and some things happen out of nowhere
