Alright I’m just going to say it. Without going into detail Naruto overall is dead. Wasted potential runs amuck, filler runs amuck, perverts run amuck. It’s one of those OG shows that introduces people into the genre of anime alot like DBZ. But when you’ve experienced quality stories (Avatar TLA, Dororo, Vinland Saga, Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood, 91 Days) your tolerance for nonsense just to get some payoff declines. For example, we’ve been knowing extremely dangerous ninja/shinobi (the akatsuki) are hunting Naruto & he just had an encounter with them. Instead of Jiraiya immediately starting Naruto’s training we have to sit through 18 minutes of them fooling around in some village for us to even be shown the jutsu Naruto will be learning. Tolerating nonsense for a little payoff, it’s a recurring trend in the show that is annoying & gets old really fast. If you're a fan of this show, cool. If you want TCN to keep watching it, cool. If you disagree with everything I just said, cool. But either way Naruto is dead
