Notification Feed WIP + Bugfixes
Added 2018-03-08 17:00:00 +0000 UTCWe've been busy in every possible sense of the term, but found some time to wrap up a much-requested feature addition to the site. Previously, I mentioned our Notification system being online for browser push, and now we've expanded that to a new Notification feed.
The key feature is the read / unread state, which you can toggle using the check box (mark read) and open envelope (mark unread) icons. Wanna nuke 'em all? Click the "Read All" button to mark all notifications as read.
Notifications marked as read will still show up in the feed, though a future expansion will be to add a toggle view to show only unread notifications.
Bugfixes:
- NSFW images in the timelines should now show the NSFW placeholder when they should be hidden
- User account status now applies to user icons/names in the timelines.
- "Suggested Users" is now, properly, limited to the first 6 results (there are other bugs here but that's a later problem).
- "Activity Feed" link is no longer perma-active when you're anywhere on the dashboard.
