Good news, bad news

I know that for many money is or will soon be getting tight and myself and Merkava both appreciate your continued support. That being said as usual we’d like to reiterate that we’re not in this for the money, and though it does motivate us even better motivation is provided by reader engagement. If you need to reduce or suspend your patronage for a time we totally understand.
Along the lines of user engagement though, we should have a discord channel coming online soon. Seeing how this is a very popular way for people to engage we’re hoping we can make it work for us as well.
Anyway, the good news is that I’ve been making slow but steady progress on finishing Ren-Faire in the past month. I’m very hopeful that I’ll atually be having this monster wrapped up soon. I also have been working with artists and should hopefully have some new art coming soon as well.
The bad news, is that my laptop recently died a premature death. A fan had gotten stuck and while I eventually did figure out the problem and fix it, I’m fairly certain the time it was running with only 1/2 its cooling led to heat death for the video card. Luckily I still have my ipad with keyboard for writing on the road, however there are certain things that are just easier to do on a proper computer, like editing and viewing reference material. Hopefully the added onerousness of having to do everything on my ipad is balanced out by not being able to game at all and thus spending more time just writing.
