February Update!
Added 2020-02-11 00:35:13 +0000 UTCHi folks! Coffeepilot here! First off, a huge thanks to all the new patrons who have joined in the last month or two, likely as a result of my presence on certain discord channels. Thank you very much for your support!
I recognize that a lot of you are probably wondering "Where the F&$K is the new content?!" and I am here to try and answer that.
1. Fitting in at the Ren-Faire: Finishing this has been my top creative priority for awhile. I've been making slow, painfully slow, progress on this for quite some time. The problem of course being trying to put a satisfactory end on a story that I've been writing off and on for the better part of a decade. Right now chapter 21, which I hope will be the final chapter, is sitting at a whopping 22,000 words and still needs a few scenes finished up. The good news is it's at the stage where I'm going back and forth with Merkava to finish up the last few scenes. The bad news is he's got quite a bit going on IRL that slows this process down.
2. Merkava's stories: As noted above, Merkava has a lot going on that keeps him from being as productive as he'd like to be. Unlike me, he doesn't have a lot of private downtime that he can use for writing/editing. As we've both decided to make finishing Ren-Faire our #1 priority his other stuff is on hold till this is accomplished.
3. CoffeePilot's other stories: again, see above regarding priorities.
4. Commission artwork: I'm currently working with a few different artists on commission art. Synthean is working on more of the Fantastic Desire sequence involving Kay becoming a busty Fae. I also have art for Maria from Ren-Faire in the pipe. Please comment on this post if you have specific things you'd like to see us commission next as thanks to our generous patrons we do have a nice little pot of art money to play with right now.
So that's where things stand as of now. It's been a crazy year for both Merkava and I personally and professionally so I hope you'll forgive our slow pace. As we both often say, feedback and comments are worth just as much if not more to us than money, so please comment on the stories and art you love as this encourages us more than anything.
