Independence Day Update

Hello all! Happy 4th of July.  Merkava IV here,

First off, this is long overdue. Thank you all for your patience and support.

Now onto the admin stuff. I am deployed again. Long time followers/patrons will know that means I am about to become much more productive. 

Projects (in order of my priority to finish) are A&A redux (because good Lord, after 15+ years it needs to be put to bed!), C&B, and a yet to be discussed project that will (hopefully?) neatly tie the three stories up with a pretty bow. 

Hopefully, A&A can be finished up in the next two months (since up to chapter 20 has already been published once) and I have started on rewriting the lost chapters 21-25/26 which is where the story ends. 

C&B is a different kettle of fish. It's what happens when you have a set of characters you want to write, but don't have a clear ending when you start writing. While I now have the ending (thanks to very patient sound boarding by CoffeePilot who is very good about supporting me as he quietly smashes his head against a wall while I'm spamming him with ideas in my stream of consciousness way), but we are a ways from it. I would really like to get it done this trip as well.

I am not going to talk too much about the last story yet, because it's still very nebulous, but it should be a fun write and hopefully not as long (target is 7 chapters and if possible 49000 words). If A&A gets done on time, work will commence full speed on it soon after.

CoffeePilot has been suffering from writers block, but looks to have finally put that behind him and is in the process of wrapping up RenFaire (which also needs to have a fork stuck in it). So that should hopefully be ready for final rough drafts in a few weeks and maybe publishing in August.

Lastly, we are still looking at art commissions. More on that in a soon to be announced post.
