Chapter 6 Pyrrha Nikos

On the rooftop, Beacon Tower.

A young woman with red hair and a young woman with black hair were fighting intensely.

The young woman with black hair was stronger and the red-haired young woman couldn’t fight back at all.

The two were Pyrrha Nikos and Cinder Fall.

“Not that strong huh for an invincible girl. You are more fragile than I thought.”

Cinder talked down to Pyrrha who was now defeated.

Pyrrha knew that it was a bad decision in her life, fighting one on one with Cinder who already gained the complete power of the fall maiden.

Even with her polar semblance she didn’t have much hope in defeating her.

Her weapon was also broken and now the Giant Nevermore was roaming around ready to eat her.

‘I can’t hold it anymore. Am I going to die here’

She felt nothing in the face of death. Her life was always about fighting and making a name. She didn’t have much attachment to her life. Even with her family. They didn’t help much in this regard.

‘Maybe that is why I choose to fight her foolishly. I hope to end it all’

Cider smirked at her after she didn’t hear her respond.

“Well, it’s fun while it lasts. Good bye, invincible girl.”

Cinder was about to end her with her magic. but as she was about to use her magic. Something happened to the Giant Nevermore.

Pyrrha saw it with her own two eyes. A young blond hair man flew up then piece the Giant Nevermore with his spear. He twisted his spear then a giant dragon made out of water thrust through the Giant Nevermore then engulfed it and crushed it to nothingness.

‘Who is he’

Pyrrha saw his face and his smile. It reminded her of a man she couldn’t save.

She thought he would be a good choice for a friend who knew he would die by hitting a tree from height like that.

The young man after dealing with the Giant Nevermore. He then looked at Cinder Fall. His eyes were full of focus.

Cinder also looked back at him. Her smirk vanished. She knew that he could pose a threat to her.

“So you are the final boss I need to defeat. You are very strong.”

The young man then drank a lot of potion. His body turned red and there was smoke coming from his body.

“Just because you can kill my pet doesn't mean you can win against me. I shall show you the power of the god”

The young man raised his eyebrows before shrugging his shoulders.

“You are god? Good, then me too. I am also a god!”

Pyrrha was confused about what he was saying. Even Cinder couldn’t understand either. It was just a metaphor. Did he just try to make fun of her, but it wasn’t that funny?

“Eh…Well let's not talk about it okay. I don’t have experience in fighting with words. Come on let's fight shall we.”

He was embarrassed. He didn’t know how to fight with words so he showed them with his spear.

Wow that’s dirty…What happened to his mind now!

Cinder didn’t say anything anymore. She charged at him with her magic. Her fire magic was so strong. It could melt metal in a mere seconds.

The young man wasn’t afraid of her flame. He just swung his spear left and right then a torrent of water came out of thin air and intercepted her flame.

Water and Fire when they face each other people would say that water will absolutely dominate the fire. However it wasn’t all the case.

Cinder fire was condensed with magic. while the young man's water condensed with foreign energy.

The two energies when they meet each other they cause a powerful explosion. It was strong enough to blow everything on the rooftop.

Pyrrha was injured. She couldn’t do anything but be swept by it. and when she thought that her final moment had come. The handsome young man tightly hugged her. and protect her from the explosion.

“Oopsie I almost forgot about you missy.”

“Did you just try to rhyme?”

“No…What are you talking about…”

Pyrrha couldn’t help but laugh at how adorkable the young man was. Even though he was powerful. He didn’t give her any sense of oppression at all. On the other hand, she felt safe when he hugged her like that.

Cinder was now very angry. She didn’t think that the young man who killed her pet would be this powerful.

“He can fight me even when I use the power of the fall maiden. And what is that…water magic?”

She won’t believe that he could use magic. Only a maiden could. and he’s nothing like a woman. even though he was beautiful enough. but he is still a man!

“I will play with you no more! Die!”

The young man or Jaune was now stood on his feet and brough Pyrrha behind him to protect her. He swung his spear to neutralize the flame.

His Water Breathing Spear Technique could go against Cinder flame easily.

Not only that, he countered many times and fought back fiercely. Made Cinder have wounds around her body.

“*Ugh!* Why don’t you just die, you pest!”

“I am not a pest, you ugly witch!”

If it was someone else, call her ugly. She wouldn’t feel anything as to what her opponent said was a fault. but to a very handsome man like him. It was like a sharp knife piercing through her heart.

She will kill him with glee. She will gut him!

The two fought very hard. On one side she used a bow and knife with fire magic. On the other side, he used a spear and water profound energy.

The two collided more than once, but neither of them seemed to lose out.

'I must finish this battle quickly or else huntsmen of Vale and Atlas soldiers might surround me.’

Cinder tried hard but to no avail. She couldn’t beat the young man. No, it seemed like he would be the one to defeat her if the fight continued on. She could feel his improvement in fighting against her.

She didn’t want to admit it but he might be a super genius at fighting. Even more than Pyrrha Nikos, the four time champion of the Mistral Regional Tournament.

Jaune too could not beat her even with the use of potions. but his experience in fighting shot through the roof. Jaune just needed an hour or a little bit more for him to beat Cinder. But it looked like his opponent didn’t have that much time.

“I don’t have time to play with you anymore, But remember for I will hunt you down!”

Cinder couldn’t waste anymore time. She need to go now.

And when she was going to escape from the rooftop. She had an opening. Jaune wasn’t like thinking he used that opportunity to strike her.

“Mizu no Kokyu Shichi no kata: Shizuku Hamon Tsuki!”
(Water Breathing Seventh Form: Drop Ripple Thrust)

Jaune performs a precise, fast and accurate thrust with his spear at the opening.

Cinder was shocked. She didn’t think that Jaune would stab her in the back. Didn’t he have dignity as a huntsman!

She forgot or didn’t know. He didn’t have any of that, and he wasn’t a huntsman just yet. Not even in training!

His spear broke through her spine and came out of her stomach. She screamed out loudly in pain. She would have died if it were not for the Grimm parasite in her.

A Grimm griffon came in and helped her away from Jaune. Jaune wanted to follow it and end Cinder once and for all. So that she could cause more suffering to innocent people.

Bue when he was about to fly and follow Cinder. A horde of Grimm Griffon attacked him. He couldn’t help but defend himself and killed them with his AOE spear technique. When he finished getting rid of them. Cinder was nowhere to be found.

“She’s gone. *Sigh* Now I need to be careful. I don’t know when she will strike me back.”

Ciel heard her master and reassured him.

[Don’t worry. Host can just buy something in helping the host to detect the danger like spider sense or six sense. something like that. With the host's current strength, the host shouldn't be afraid of someone like her. She was just a stepping stone!]

Hearing her assurance. Jaune felt better. It was like Ceil said. He just needed to keep becoming stronger and buy many things from the store. It was unfortunate that he couldn’t buy everything he wanted because the store had a privilege function. If he wanted to buy more useful things. He needed to make a sale for it to unlock them!

And for the customer too. They need to keep buying things and selling things to upgrade their privilege.
