I added Gallery in Main Menu. If you play a scene from there, New Game will start after the scene ends. But if you play from In-Game, then scene will end properly.

Modder Note: The mod for part 2 uses an updated mod core, compared to part 1. You should have a look at the mod settings and reset the filters, since they will be different and might filter out the wrong choices! Click on Quick Menu > Mod > Settings > Route Filter > Reset

Change Language after lunching the game
Part 2 currently supports auto saves as Dev said. So if your game doesn't find saves, you can always start New Game and select your previous choices.
