y'allmy mixed media experimentation continues, bc I simply can't be stopped. what's on the docket this time? copic markers, color pencils, and gouache, which have turned out to be one of my favorite combos thus far. all 3 tools are really easy to work with and layer with one another, making the art process feel intuitive and seamless. I really value those qualities when making art, because feeling hindered by my tools just complicates emotional expression, which is core to why I make anything. I've recently leveled up my gouache tools with a waterbrush pen, which has made using gouache a lot easier and more fun. look, I don't want to go through the whole song and dance of cleaning a container of paint water and brushes every time I want to paint. we adapt. really excited to play around with these three tools more and see what kinds of layering effects I can push! ( ` ω ´ )
