In Potato's session he went to the Grimy Gremlin and Luther and Pidge were there, that was this same day. There were only two new faces in the joint, the girl asking for her brother and Potath's char and Pidgeon did specifically say he goes to the Gremlin to eaves drop and lip read to fish for info. Potato's character was there for at least an hour. It seems a bit farfetched that they saw a person that perfectly matches the description in the locale they were expecting to see her that exact same day and just didn't put two and two together... Then again that was like a month between sessions so they probably forgot the details.
