A big lengthy important announcement post

Hello it is me, Magbo, the drawing guy

This will be a maybe lengthy housekeeping end of the year post to sum up this year and touch on Commissions as well as Patreon moving forward and whats planned for december and beyond.

----- TLDR (unga bunga tiktok brain version) -----

no office job, only art now. commissions open, 300$, start drawing next year, ask if interested. no old tiers, only new tiers. 4$ tier all reward, 8$ tier pic suggest. many art in future, maybe league VN too.

----- Year sum up -----
This year was a bit bumpy for me, tried to juggle an office job with doing regular art content while also dealing while navigating a long bureaucratic process, was kinda miserable lol. halfway through the year ended up with a repetitive strain injury, both hands kinda busted, took a few months to recover and luckily it didnt seem to be anything permanent - still feels uncomfortable if i use a mouse too much during the day but its ok. quit the office job since i could not do it due to RSI. last month figured out how to color sketches faster which is cool moving forward seeing as how id like to try and do art full time.

----- Commissions -----
ive done a few commissions this year and if i want to do this full time id need to do more of those moving on. instead of doing auctions i will going back to how i used to do commissions years back. i have not publicly announced any openings yet, but if you are interested feel free to inquire through email/discord/patreon dm/however you like. open to OCs and non OCs alike but i still may refuse any pitches i dont like enough to work on. prices this time are set at 300$ for a fully colored single character picture + 250 per additional character (may be subject to minor change on a case by case basis with off screen characters not taken into account). if you are interested you can check your ideas with me but i will not be starting any commissions until january.

----- Patreon plans -----
It has been a while since i updated my patreon in any way and i think i would like to sort of relaunch it at this point. first off i am considering removing all posts on there at this moment and starting off from an updated archive post with all the sketches and pictures. second i am going to be redoing the pledge tiers so current tiers will be removed and replaced with 2 new tiers.

the 2 new pledge tiers will be:
* 4$ tier: includes sketches, high res, and early access (ive had a consistent backlog of around 5-10 pictures for a while now)
* 8$ tier: includes access to monthly picture suggestion. once a month through objective means ill pick a suggestion to draw and color (suggestions would follow same rules as commissions (so ill allow OCs and non OCs, for now) and would preferably be for 1 possibly 2 character pics)

while i like the idea of suggestions and polls i feel like the results are extremely predictable thus ruining the fun of it. i do like the sketch suggestion box still, id like to still keep it around in some way but i dont think dedicating an entire month to it is a good idea. maybe ill bring it back as a side where higher tier patrons can drop in their ideas and ill sporadically draw stuff out of it.

Ill look into how removing/adding new tiers works for those already pledged, will give another headsup post before i change anything.

----- Future plans -----
I wanted to clean up what i can remember saying i was going to do. so this month i have a few pictures planned: finish the renamon docking set and samus from the polls. theres a few other pics i have on my radar and also finishing up the sketch suggestions, id feel bad if i bailed out on those.

Next year i would like to work on finishing more of the sketches ive had lying around. there is a potential league VN thing i may start working on with a writer man, no ETA on it atm but a demo is in the works. im not sure what id like to work on in the future, my preferences on what i find entertaining to draw have obviously shifted over time. id like to draw stuff the generous supporters want to see but also draw things that i like to draw, hopefully i can find a balance there.
