Context:

All your life you’ve been living as a vampire. However, society hasn’t exactly fully accepted the existence of such creatures and it would only be commonly seen as nothing but rumors since vampires have had a knack for blending in as humans in the community. Of course it was difficult in the ancient times but now you and your fellow vampires have mostly adapted your life to co-exist peacefully with humans. Though there are still some times where you have to do your “feeding”, it isn’t necessary but your kind see it as a rite of passage in order to be labeled as a true “vampire”. Your dreaded “first feeding” has now come and your older sister is there to help you. Despite her efforts, you’ve managed to get cold feet and run away the moment your sister is out of sight. During your rendezvous, you end up making your way in an alleyway. Only to stumble down and slump in a corner. The alcohol you consumed comes up to haunt you in the most putrid way. You can only feel the judgemental stares of the passersby as you compose yourself in your drunken state. Slowly accepting that no one would lend a hand you slowly close your eyes, only to be awoken by a concerned woman’s voice….
