If it were literally anybody else, I would ask "why the hell would you want, let alone bother to even try, to do this?" and exclaim "this is a terrible idea, don't bother, the result will be nothing but headaches and spite. Run Linux or get a new machine." But you? You get a pass. You very mundane, well-adjusted person, you. Go do some totally normal computing.👍

2025-09-10 13:30:27 +0000 UTCIt's actually surprising how well it runs. I know it's a very high end PC of that era, with a stripped down version of Win11, but still.... You could still daily-drive this thing with Linux, assuming you swap the PSU with something that's easier on the power bill
