Happy July!!

I’m typing this as I’m listening to a Jazz playlist so the vibes are immaculate.

I have these sketches that have been sitting there collecting dust for about a year now. Usually my sketchbooks exist purely for decoration. I almost never sketch and always go from doodle to full painting, all in Photoshop. So I did these to kind of let my mind do whatever it wants without the burden of creating something polished. I wanted to explore art that is playful and doesn’t take itself too seriously. These sketches aren’t what you’d usually see me posting but I loved the process! The limitation of only using pen and pencil really pushed me to think of different ideas ( I did color them digitally though). I will be sharing them one by one this month, of course, you guys get to see them first!

Also, I registered in a CGMA class that teaches Blender for 2D artists and it’s staring next week! I’m super excited to learn more and conquer this Blender thing. I really want to push my art more and be able to create more complicated compositions.

ALSO I got accepted to Lightbox Expo virtual artist alley, which is exciting! But I honestly have no idea what I should be doing there so if anybody knows what to do uh like,, send help.

Anyway, thank you for being with me on this journey, it truly means a lot to me.
