Do we need a new head design or this one is ok?

As you might have noticed for the second prototype, we used the existing head model made by KP-ShadowSquirrel. You could see same model in SFM pony animations for example. They are free for non commercial use.
Is it really necessary to design a new head, or it's ok to use same on proto3?

Note: Not all head 3D models are suitable for our robot. Eyes placement and size should be within certain limits. We tried to use models from CreatorOfPony, but it is impossible to fit the displays inside.

Eyeup. Still a prototype. The head and face will greatly affect how the robot looks. I'm personally does not fully like how popular SFM models looks. But our main CAD designer thinks otherwise. Maybe we'll develop another head later.

2017-05-02 20:29:35 +0000 UTCNeck seems a bit long, but the head is fine. Like you all said back in the beginning: as advanced as this is becoming, it's still essentially a prototype. Try things. If it doesn't work, try something else.
