The TASKS of the first stage was:
Develop the legs construction based on the common servo motors (see below what is it);
Develop the control system;
Develop the power supply subsystem.
What is servomotor?
There are several methods how to move legs, but the most popular and optimal is to use servomotors. A servomotor is a rotary actuator that allows for precise control of angular position, velocity and acceleration. This thing can turn to a certain angle and keep specified position.
