I’m assuming your kids got the solos, but my guts says it was the Chinese exchange student who’s parents made her practice 12 hours a day. That was my experience in high school music.

You can guess who soloed but everyone did a great job especially for high schoolers. Youngest played Cello and got a scholarship for it, was lovely hearing her play night and day, was like our life had a soundtrack. You can always get that dozer running and just bury that garbage no?
