Slow Music Movement

This picture pretty much sums up life with a toddler soon to be little kid. Every moment precious and also angst occupies the moments of betweenness when we wait for that moment when we can race to the finish creating and producing our next two albums…simultaneously as it turns out. “Work the Whole Painting” as my favorite art professor would say. And so we build mountains when we set out to climb a mole hill. Casual has never been our mode of creating. But we are in an industry where pushing out multiple albums per year is the industry norm. Of course who wouldn’t love spending the majority of the day playing, creating and making music rather than changing the toilet bucket, building roofs and hauling wood. Pioneering takes time. Slow and steady is the order of the year and as we trudge at what feels like a snails pace to the finish we reflect on everything we’ve accomplished, those who left and all that’s changed this year including us. Abe’s year has been filled to the brim with nonprofit work as the organization takes a beautiful turn towards the future and grows into its new season. But also this has left very little time to make movements move so every moment is precious and filled with business between goof sessions. We’ve taken the time to close our roof so the snow wouldn’t come in this winter, although I admit that I will miss the magic of snowflakes falling around a warm fire and on our tropical plants growing in the greenhouse. We’ve been building a second manger for the goats so they can escape the storms to come and we are continuing to open our doors to every feathered soul that comes to us. We’re so excited to share our 20 new songs with everyone including an entire album just for kids! We’ve decided to take the slow release option and start by uploading some singles we’ve had in the works all year, starting with 2 songs from our kids album “ Songs for Wild Children “. We are so grateful to all of our patrons who have stuck through this turbulent year of 2021. Your support keeps this train rolling down the tracks! Many fruit and vegeful bounties to you all for the New Year! We love you!
