Weekly Bonus #34

Hi Patrons! For once, my 'weekly bonus' is a short one (and a late one) because this week I had (and I still have) the flu. It's not easy to be productive in this context, so I do slow progress and keep all the few time I'm awake to draw on future episode 15. The picture in attachment is a photo of my desk, as it is this morning with sketches and drawing for future episode 15. In this future episode, Pepper does a wide range of facial expressions and has a very precise acting. I have a long scene very challenging to draw. Even in the storyboard, this scene was difficult to setup. Also, I predict this episode will be a very creative exercice for the translation team. :-)

On another side, there is a lot of activities on the blog of Pepper&Carrot since the last 10 days: the amount of derivative projects is growing a lot. The project is very healthy! Here is a set of links if you missed something:

★ I updated the 'source' page with 12 illustrations ( *.kra files) and cleaned layers.

★ I also uploaded a gallery with my traditional artworks, only raw scan.

★ UncleNight posted a long article for translators on how using Git the easy way.

★ Xuan Minh Pham launched a Kickstarter video-game project with Pepper&Carrot.

★ Nikolai Mamashev published a full 2.5D blender rigg of Pepper, with a small animation of Pepper doing a 'hello' to the camera.

★ Finally, check the very good artworks I received from Tyson Tan and Neotheta

Thank you all for your support, and have a good week-end!

Thank you Ella :) I mix often regular colored pencil and blue nib ( Pentel Blue lead in 0.5mm). I'm experimenting again around this technique: http://www.davidrevoy.com/article239/cleaning-blue-lines-sketch-in-krita , but I'll apply a smoothing filter on my line for having them melted with my painted rendering.

These look wonderful ^^ what kind of blue pencil do you use for your sketches? Is it a non-photo blue or just a regular blue colour pencil? :D
