oh I actually address that exact idea later! I specifically think doing this would have introduced too much bias into the data because these other series are themselves hard to define

2024-05-21 14:36:42 +0000 UTCListening to this 6 minute segment gets my wheels turning on how you could increase the response rate while still including all the games and a thought and a question occured to me, the thought was could you "bundle" games into a single question like "would you consider any Mario kart game as part of the series?" And then this would expand into individual questions about each game. But then the question follows "How do you define a Mario kart game?" And then a curiosity that I think you have positioned yourself to answer is "Is it easier to classify Mario kart games, than super Mario games?" This probably would be yes, but you could compare different series like is it easier to classify Donkey Kong games?
