I Watched All 7 Police Academy Movies And This Is What I Learned

I really hope next time I go to movie trivia somewhere they do a lot of questions about Police Academy because I'm now stuck with way too much knowledge about this franchise in my brain.
This was a classic situation where one morning I tweeted, as a joke
And then so many people responded with some variation of "YES PLEASE DO IT" that I realized I had to
Well, I didn't HAVE to, but it was an easy video premise that might be interesting and the audience was clearly already into it
So I bought the blu-ray box set and did it and now I know so much about Police Academy.
The toughest thing about this video was trying to keep it small. Since we're in post-production on the season finale, I'm trying to keep the videos simpler than usual so I have time to work on both. And this one presented so many opportunities for weird segments and tangents that it easily could've been an hour long. If this had been part of the regular season, it would be.
But look, it's still a 30-minute video about Police Academy, which is probably more effort than the series deserves. And it still ended up being a week late since there was so much to cover, even in its simplified state.
There's only one video coming in November since I'm really trying to focus on finishing the finale, and right now that video will probably be about MAKING the finale. So stay tuned!

Also, forgot to mention: I am around Patrick's age, and I saw plenty of Police Academy media. A bunch of the films, the cartoon, and the live action show. So the fact that most people hadn't seen the films kinda threw me...

My prevailing theory for Police Academy has been that it would benefit from an inclusive, ACAB-focused reboot, preferably with a person in a marginalized group or two at the helm (the dream was always Laverne Cox, who would do double duty as producer and Hightower). I'm gonna go watch the review and comment to see if I was incredibly naive...
