Shen Makes an Earnest Attempt at Making a Fursona (FINALE)

Hey folks. Here's where we've been and where we're at:

And then here's where we're at on our checklist:

[x] Pick 3 animals

[x] Do studies of those animals. Takes notes on any defining characteristics that could be included in an anthro version (1 hr)

[x] Do studies of anthro art (30 minutes)

[x] Create 3 anthro designs (1 per animal)

[x] Iterate on them each of them once

[x] Pick the one I like most

[x] Iterate on it 2 more times

[ ] Make a cool drawing of it, where I vary up the angle and pose a bit

The only thing that remains is to make that cool drawing. BUT I believe I did mention wanting to provide a more casual outfit for this guy. Let's work on that. First we need to establish what he looks like minus the current outfit, to know the fur patterns:

Here's me trying out a few outfits on him. I decided that I really like the shape of the 80's-inspired third outfit in that lineup, but I want him to be a failguy, which the general theme of the first one is more conducive to:

That's it. That's the fit. The pants mirror his work outfit somewhat in a satisfying way. I don't know how tight I want the tank top to me, but I think it should definitely be high-waisted overall. I tend to like that look, and it's part of the reason why I love 80's fashion in particular.

Anyway, time for a cooler drawing.
