Greetings adventurers!

Have you ever given much thought to the common mushroom colony? No, I had thought not. Something amazing about them is their ability to stretch on for miles and warn one another of coming dangers. I find that kind of intelligence in plant life to be astounding, but I had never thought to replicate it. That is until I was venturing deep into the green river where I found a community of Anuran. Intelligent beings that considered themselves to be in balance with the natural world around them. They taught me some of their magics and their ways and I taught them some of mine. As a parting gift, this cap was placed upon my head and I’ve had it ever since.

Our patrons get early access to all of these items as well as additional formats that are easily usable in both physical and online play for D&D and Pathfinder 2E. Additionally they get high-res art exports, easy to use text exports, behind the scenes updates, and a lot more.

Design notes from Matthew:
Sometimes there’s just not a lot of precedent for what you want to create in a system and that’s when you have to improvise a bit. Certainly there are some things that come close, like the alarm spell, but I wanted something more powerful with a lot more range. I had to spend a good bit of time dialing in how you would set this up, but overall I’m happy with the results. Alarm has a range out to 30 feet and this definitely pushes that a lot further. It’s kind of what I would expect if alarm were upcast with more range, more distinct traits, and without the fear of alerting those that stepped into the area.
My hope was that this original idea would translate well into 5E and PF2E. For the PF2E version, there were a lot more cues to take from the original Alarm spell, but I still wanted to extend the range and give some more detail like how many creatures were moving in and their rough size. Those details set this piece apart enough that I think it makes for an interesting addition to the systems without fully stepping on the toes of what the original spells do.
