Rebels 4x15 * FULL LENGTH REACTION

Everyone's working together!!!

I love seeing what the plan is, and how they go about succeeding despite any setbacks.

My favourite thing of this episode is just how much Ezra trusts Sabine even though Sabine is like "wtf does that mean?! What am I supposed to do?!" 🤣

I personally don't know why they always want the Rebels captured alive (aside from plot armor), since it feels like they should know that they'll never give up any information.

I'm very curious to see what happens next, Star Wars animated series always end a bit open ended so they can continue with the story in the future if they so choose.

I'm still hoping to see Omega again, and the Bad Batch 🥰

What an adventure, I'd love to know your rankings for Clone Wars, Bad Batch and Rebels!! And also your Ghost Crew character rankings 🤩

For this style of reaction, you need your own copy to watch the movie.  You can set picture in picture by right clicking twice on the video and selecting "Picture in picture". The right clicking twice is a bit tricky, because you have to right click, then move your cursor so it's not on the menu, then right click again

Viewing order affects it a lot I think. Like if you see the movies in release order or not. I'm personally really happy that I watched them in release order lol I had no idea this ended before Disney+, it's so bizarre seeing it now and just not really knowing the state of everything when it was released 😅

Applause for being able to check off another Star Wars title from the to-do list. Lucasfilm indeed does know how to give their animated series a worthwhile and satisfactory ending. Crazy to think that this series premiered and ended before the existence of Disney +, and at the time, this and The Clone Wars were still the only Star Wars that existed outside of the movies. In one of your previous comments, you mentioned what you might have thought about the series in comparison to The Clone Wars and The Bad Batch had you watched it in release order, and this is something I have always been curious about as well. How each person's viewing order may have an effect on overall ranking. I personally have this series as my second favorite title among all the series and movies, and I want to say I would still have that opinion even if I had a different viewing order, but again, it's one of those things we could only wonder about.

I completely get you on that. I firmly believe that franchises either die a hero, or live long enough to become the villain. Also lately, franchises seem to just pump out content, aiming more for quantity over quality, sort of like if you throw spaghetti at a wall, eventually some will stick. Like with MCU, I'm not super hyped about what is coming down the pipeline.

I didn't know some of the series were pitched as movies and forced into a series, I think they would have been better as movies for sure. That's a shame, it feels like the people making decisions at Disney are out of touch with things. But again, it's possible that the movies would have ended up terrible, there's no way of knowing, sadly.

May 22,2025 is the expected release date. It is the first of two films. The second one will serve as a finale.

My interest in new Star Wars media is at an all-time low, and Skeleton Crew just reinforces that. Just so incredibly average and didn't really do all that much for me. I would say it's not worth your time but that's my opinion on it. I want to be excited believe me for new stuff but the tolerance for mediocrity is only so much lol.

I agree that there should be more animated shows, and they've done a good job of balancing live action and animated. Andor and Mandalorian are great live action shows, Skeleton crew is a notch below them, but those two are the only ones that rank at or above the animated shows. For the most part they've been the most enjoyable and personally I think it's because live action shows suffer from the executive level push for streaming. I know a few of the shows have been pitched as movies but were forced into streaming series (kenobi, skeleton crew, acolyte, etc) and most of them suffered because of it. Animation has more episodes by nature and has more time to explore characters, tell the story, etc. so they tend to be better as a whole.

There is a mandalorian movie that is supposed to tie up all of the things between episode 6 and episode 7 so it should be the last thing to watch before the sequels. It's in production but I don't think there's a time table for the release yet.

It makes sense not being able to rank them haha, I do think seeing them in the order that I did affected the final season of Bad Batch and Rebels for me. Had I watched Rebels first, I may have preferred that one, since the whole sacrifice yourself for others was done in both final seasons. That seems to be the only way that a main character dies, which is unfortunate, imo. Kallus and Zeb's ending is perfect, yes!!!!! I knew they would be best friends!! 🤣 I think I may be the odd one, in that I hate when a series ends with a main character having a kid. So many anime series do that, and MCU does that too, where they leave it open to continue a story. I personally don't care at all for main characters' children, and would prefer that a series is final instead of leaving things open ended to "possibly continue in the future". That's a personal preference though, so when I see that happen, it tends to cheapen it for me. Revenge of the Sith is different since it was a prequel. Ahsoka and Sabine is definitely a unique pair-up, but could be so fun to see!

I'm so excited to see more about Mandalore/Mandalorians!!

What a ride! I still remember you being nervous to start this show lol so I'm glad you really enjoyed it overall, yeah it's definitely the characters that are the best aspect of show, and because of that I can never rank them lol I just put them all on the same pedestal. Seeing Ezra giving himself up like that then eventually sacrificing himself like his Master did just to get Thrawn out of the picture was gut-wrenching but touching to watch, Kanan sure did Teach him well. I remember being devastated seeing that since watching this whole show as it was releasing way back I basically grew up along side Ezra in a way you could say lol. Seeing all the Endings for the Characters in the Epilogue was heartwarming though I absolutely love Kallus & Zeb's ending, after everything that's just perfect! Also Seems like Hera & Kanan got busyyyyy at one point haha 😂 crazy to imagine Hera was probably pregnant during this last episode. That's also just Salt in the wound though that Jacen will grow up never knowing his Awesome father. And Finally Sabine & Ahsoka is a unique pair-up lol but they both have a fulfillment to Find Ezra so I guess we'll have to wait & see what that's all about. Anyways Really Excited to Begin Mandalorian though! 😁

Hayden

What a journey, exited to see you start the live action shows.

In the Rebels Recon aftershow , Dave Filoni stated outright that both Ezra and Thrawn survived and that story was “for another time”. The epilogue is just a good way to wrap up a storylines. The Captain Pellaeon name drop made fans super excited, because he serves as Doctor Watson to Thrawn’s Sherlock Holmes in the Legends continuity. The Ghost crew and especially Ezra taking out Thrawn changed the course of the Rebellion against the Empire, his strategic genius was more of a threat than both Death Stars combined.
