The implication given in the show, by Lakan himself, is that he forced himself on that courtesan, destroying her worth and that MaoMao was conceived through that. Lakan himself has worded and framed it to imply that, it's not just the viewer jumping onto it, it's what the show and Lakan are conveying. Saying "the show hasn't said anything" means completely ignoring the purposeful framing and implication done in it just becasue they don't spoonfeed it to the audience.

When it comes to SA, people don't care if saying something like that could be a joke or a tactical play or whatever, they will immediately jump to the worst assumptions. It's not a function of reason. Just the modern zeitgeist.
