It's funny that Anna mentions the Japanese voice actor for Anya from Spy Family doing other roles. She's the voice of Frieren, after all. I 100% agree with Ben about not getting major actors to do English dubs. Voice acting is its own skill set.

It seems to imply that the technical progression and arms-race of magic between demons and people is all a symptom of nobody truly knowing what magic is, and so approaching it in a way we can understand; something governed by rules which can be tested and defined. But Ubel doesn't know anything about magic except how it feels to use, yet can mimic powerful (and likely complex) spells effortlessly by intuiting what we now have to assume is the actual secret behind every spell. Crazy stuff
