I agree, especially since alot of the series is deconstructing magical girls. To end the series on a note where after you find all the cursed realities of life, you still find a way to still keep hope and dreams alive because that's what matters most? I cannot gush enough about how good this series is. I cannot wait for this movie.

2024-04-08 19:42:23 +0000 UTCI think the sequence of Madoka's wish is so far and away the best part of the series (obviously) because it's such a fitting heel-turn for the tone of the show (and Gen Urobuchi as a writer) and actually puts in front of people this image of infinite selfless even sacrificial love, and none of it played for jokes, irony, or undermined.
