I personally like her and admire her work. We have some differences of opinion, most notable re: Russia. I wonder if her views on that will evolve. Her last book would seem to contain the basis for revising some of her earlier ideas and to account for the fact that our problems predate the Russian Federation and are rooted in imperialism and our domestic oligarchy. I'll see if we can do something else together at some point down the road. :)

I saw it... Idk who his source is. As Pepe argues, it seems very amateurish...so what to make of it? Maybe it was supposed to be a catalyst for something bigger, or maybe it was to send a message, or maybe it was a test run for something bigger down the road, or maybe it was just some Brazilian fascists doing a MAGA LARP...

At the risk of giving you a homework assignment, I'm wondering what you think of this Pepe Escobar piece laying the latest Bolsonaro riot on the CIA. I have thought Bolsonaro was too whack and stupid to hold the trust of the empire. He alienated Biden by cleaving so strongly to Trump. But Escobar thinks otherwise. https://thesaker.is/why-the-cia-attempted-a-maidan-uprising-in-brazil/

My two cents as a humble subscriber with a career in talent & casting: Aaron, you should consider partnering with Sarah at some point. This episode was a classic. I think you realized the same thing at the end, where the potential was dawning on you in real time. That kind of chemistry is hard to come by. Beg her if you have to. It was a full on professional swoonfest. Which is what great co-hosts are made of.
