Season 12, Ep 14 & 15: This was one we had been wanting to do for ages. Someone who is always up for a chat, and who is a lot more interesting people to listen to than most. It's Jeremy Coney, who has a much bigger story beyond his time as New Zealand captain in their most successful era of the mid 1980s.
With Jeremy on tour with us in Sri Lanka, it was the right time to sit and have the conversation properly. Family, theatre, song, musical instruments, travel, teaching, exploration. We broke it into two parts on the pod feed, or there's one big ol' video version above. Dig in.

A number of people have been asking where the early episodes of the show are, and it's true that they are difficult to find. We have them on file though. So the plan is to gradually add them to the current feed. That means they will initially show up as new episodes, then we will change the publication date to a retrospective one and they should resume their proper spot in the running order. So don't be confused if you see an episode that seems peculiarly out of date.
We have always been far too disorganised or busy or tasteful - take your pick - to do much with TFW social media stuff. It's all very tedious. But our sometime editor James Hurley has decided to take on this task, bless him, creating excerpts from the show and updates from our travels and whatever else takes his fancy. The end goal is to take the show to more people, and since you already like the show, giving those accounts a follow would probably help. Here are the links to Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and God forbid there may be others to come.
On this show, the way to our hearts is through the Conan O'Brien years. We have Irish captains of England, sesquicentenaries, some of New Zealand's maddest moments, the new name of Buckingham Palace, and the sound of a pig fainting.

We're finally out of Sri Lanka, after an astonishing trip. Back in London and ready to take on the next chapter. Thanks for helping us get there and back again.
