I was giving similar thought to the flour explosion. Without knowing what it's for, baking soda may be a decent alternative as far as clumping goes. As with most powders it's not great for you to breathe in, but in small quantities it should be fine.

2016-05-18 02:27:01 +0000 UTCThe chainsaw thing would honestly work a lot better if it was tethered on all 4 sides. Even 3 would provide better support to the structure. Have you got another stand? As for the flour bomb, I have a little experience with that too >:) If you've got a large-ish cylinder, some duct tape and some sort of taut/springy material, you can essentially make an air gun... just sit flour on the top of the material, pull it back from inside the cylinder and voila - flour slingshot. And if it jumps up in clumps, put a kitchen sieve over the flour, it should separate it more. As for fat-arm, I can't help you with that. Except, you know. Git gud.
