Yup. Sounds like you've very thoroughly Paperboy'd. The lady with the knife (or cake) is one of the most controversial things in our script right now. We don't know what her deal is!

2015-05-14 03:23:45 +0000 UTCI felt bad that none of us had given you an opinion of the game so far, so I went and grabbed an emulator (I'm the worst person on the planet, I know) and played for a bit. That game is so fun!! Unfortunately it took me half an hour to figure out the controls, and I still haven't gotten past Tuesday or that Training Course hell at the end of the road, but I'm glad I've got it now! Hooray for property destruction! I love picking up everybody else's amazon parcels! :DS-< That guy 'breakdancing' however... would look a lot cooler if he was wearing the right getup, or even had a boombox nearby to show he was actually breakdancing. To me it just looks like a try-hard yoga pose, like he's just really bad at 'candle'. He reminds me of Milo from Footloose. If he danced on his feet, he might look sane. And what's with that lady who runs at you with the cake slice!? Or a knife (can't tell). Was she just hiding behind the door, waiting to murder you? Is that what happened to the last paperboy? And she's in both red and white houses, so she's not just a non-subscriber. Maybe she's just pure evil, barreling down the road at you until she remembered she left the oven on and leaves you alone. Also, how often is the Grim Reaper meant to show up? At the start of the level?? >:V How many times have you personally been followed by a dog behind, have a Tony-Hawk-wannabe bearing down at you from the top end of the street, have a freak cyclone come in off the road and then you fall off the kerb and die on the sewer grate? Because I can now safely say that has happened to me. Who would'a thunk it? The music is so groovy. It's stuck in my head but I don't regret it yet. I definitely recommend this whirlwind of a game, it's so fun. Now I really can't wait for the musical, and I hope it's as zany as the game! That is probably the worst neighborhood ever to be delivering papers. Ever. #noregrets

If you guys have never played it, then you're probably going to think it's the weirdest game ever made after the musical comes out. XD But, seriously, it's a pretty weird game. It's also a ton of fun. Maybe we'll find a chance to Lets Play it before then to give everyone a... crash course... :P

Well, at least no unspoiled spoilers :P I've heard of Paper Boy, but never played it, so I can't contribute anything towards it either. I think it's awesome that you ask your Encounterers for their favorite things about the game, to make sure you can include them. :) Oh, that is one epic missed opportunity... It does explain why you kept mentioning considering doing an Avengers thing during the May live chat, though. I keep forgetting that Youtube Space has things like that, so you could theoretically branch out to movies every so often. You advertise yourselves as a video game musical channel, so I forget about the occasional non-video game things. Splatoon... I actually had a dream a few nights ago about you guys and your Splatoon event. It was, of course, weird and unrealistic, as dreams tend to be, but you and all of the participating Youtubers were going on tours to schools (high school and middle school gymnasiums, in particular: this setting was at my middle school, because even though I'm now in graduate school, I apparently still visit it?) and doing the Let's Plays live. And that was how I got to finally meet you "in person" - and then I got some random RE trivia question wrong, and I was so mortified that I spent the rest of the event curled up in a ball hiding under the bleachers.

2015-05-13 02:33:58 +0000 UTCD'oh!! Never played Paper Boy. But I like the idea of it having a musical! Sounds pretty original already, and I'll bet you've got some great ideas up your sleeve. About the Stan Lee/Youtube Space deal... That must've been rough! turning down a project associated with Stan Lee! But at the same time, Freddy's probably getting impatient from being put aside for so long... (Lord knows we don't want HIM getting restless) At least we know anything FNAF and Markiplier will do well! ;) All the same... Man!! Is it surely not possible to squeeze that in somewhere in your already busy schedule? >.< As an individual video, maybe it's not a huge loss. But it seems like doing that kind of project could be a step in the direction of better convention opportunities. *saying this with NO knowledge of the actual project. Just speculation. And I promise I'm not trying to be pushy. Just thinking of the RE channel in the long run*

I mean, it's not Freddy who's apparently going to turn up at work with a bag full of weapons (I hope) !! I love those squid hats... I might have to make one for myself when the series finally rolls out... And it's good to know that everyone's raving about how fun Splatoon is, this huge let's play is a great idea! Splatoon, then FNAF. Better think about that milestone soon...
