Well, I'm a bit late in viewing this/posting, so it's kind of a moot point to mention that I find the voice a bit more on the annoying side than the cute side. Not unbearably annoying, mind you. Just a little bit. As for LPs... I enjoyed the idea of watching Peter struggle through old school games he'd never tried before. I'm also a Nintendo fan, so anything Nintendo is good. Superfight was fun to watch (it's a game that I would much rather watch than play, but participating in commentary about it would have been fun.), but I'd be a bit hesitant for tabletop games in general. Looking forward to seeing you guys tomorrow for the live chat!

I like the voice, especially since I now what it took to create the song, and I like the novel idea of Cubone still being a child Pokemon. It makes sense, seeing as every Cubone spends its life looking through its mother's eyes. The voice would obviously do just as well for Mudkip. I'm not one for cute voices too much, the Mokonas in Tsubasa were bad enough for me to read and not watch it, but in songs I am more likely to like it. It'll just be embarrassing for anyone to hear your patrons singing along... And it's one song in a whole library of your creations. It's an experiment if anything, and results are results. There will always be people who won't like it, and they will say it, but there are plenty more that will like it/love it and won't say a thing. That's how the internet works. And you don't have to do it again later if you don't want. Nice punching bag, by the way. Game suggestions: Settlers of catan? Peter mentioned that it was good, and super fight showed us that you have plenty of friends who play tabletop games well. Quelf, a more childish game than super fight SCRABBLE. WOO. Would the PC/console games be one of you playing, the other over the shoulder? Or were you aiming for two-player games? Because I have a bajillion suggestions. 2015-02-13 11:35:20 +0000 UTCThere will most definitively be people that find it annoying, I think it's alright though. ...except that I seriously thought it was mudkip's voice until I read the post. Having a voice like that for a ground Pokémon that I would only guess to have a fairly deep earthy/bassy voice feels incredibly weird to me. Sure the juxtaposition could be humorous, but I'm not too fond of the idea.

2015-02-13 00:00:35 +0000 UTCI think it sounds adorable! Very similar to the Cubone voice from the anime, but I remember it being deeper. I think I'm fine with it, unless there's any part of the song where the voice goes higher.... If possible maybe they can do the same character voice, but sing at a single octave lower? I just fear for shrill shrieking. And in a song that's already sounding good and catchy. God forbid you get stuck in someone's head, but it doesn't at least sound pleasant! XD
