Pretty much everything I've done in the whole diaper school series to date has been leading up to this image. It has multiple callbacks to other characters and scenes. It has Cargie front and center. It has ridiculous amounts of lightup shoes, fairy wings and tutus, and teencub silliness. It has a disco ball. I have a lot to say about this image. every detail has been thought out. I spent ridiculous amounts of time rendering an accurate DJ mixer and CDJs.

Flarecat taught me a new word today: Sehnsucht. Its translated as 'longing' or 'yearning' or 'nostalgia' but that's not quite right. Its about wanting to go back and do it right. You're not nostalgic for your past experiences. It's about wanting what could have been. And after some thinking about it, that's just about all of what i draw and write. Everything is in here. Its a high school dance that never was and never could be. The one I really wanted. Its one of total acceptance for all my weird kinks and my queerness and my friends. Its where I would have been truly happy, and sexy, and free.
