Yearly post update!?

I don't post here often, as many of you probably know, but you can always find me quickly on the Discord server!

Here are some updates:

Tier 2 Request-a-WA is back!

The Request-a-WeakAura channel is open again for Tier 2 Patreons! I’ll be creating SoD and Cataclysm auras only, and I’m willing to dive into advanced features. However, I do reserve the right to decline requests that are too time-consuming. All releases are posted openly so everyone is free to use them. Check out the #t2-cata-wa-extras or #t2-sod-wa-extras channels. Make sure you can view all Discord channels—if you’re having trouble, contact @Jaz or @Myri. The specific channel for requests is #t2-wa-requests.

Firelands Raiding Pack

Firelands feedback from the PTR testing has been very positive. I personally feel like my T11 pack was not as great as it could be, and was over the top with notifications, texts, bars, etc. For Firelands I've taken a fresh approach and really trying to put myself in the mind of all raiders of all skill levels. So far I'm happy with how it's going, and think it's a substantial improvement on T11. I will have some more good stuff in store for the PTR Round 3 & Release!

The assignment WeakAura to go along with this, if used guild-wide, is extremely powerful. Since we are now getting the prenerfed version of Firelands, make sure to take advantage of this Aura with your groups. I am implementing feature updates as well, such as Boss HP% warnings; Improving the text list (current design has issues if there are many players assigned to one spell); and adding some Raid Leader checkboxes to be able to hear all assignments, etc.

Cata Class Aura Updates

From now until Firelands, I'm improving the Class Auras in general and going over them. I'm almost done with addressing all outstanding issues on the Cata auras, and then I plan to iterate them again and add improvements/fresh helpers. It will be good to go into Firelands with everything ready on the class-side.

SoD - Raiding Packs

I'm working on a few SoD Auras for more advanced things. One thing I've observed when watching SoD raids, is that players don't really have tools for advanced CD rotations, or good systems. I'll be releasing the assignment Aura for SoD for raids that really want to min max and do adventurous pulls. This will come a little after Firelands release most likely.

I will also be supporting all of the raids left to come in SoD; including if they add the Scarlet Monastery raid. I'm happy with the Blackwing Lair pack and it proved to be very useful. Hopefully we continue to get PTRs; I've setup an agreement with one of the top 5 SoD progression guilds to sit with them on the PTR and create the Auras in live-time; so that should mean the Raiding Packs in future will only be better quality and require less post-release patches.

In addition, I’ve got some new quality-of-life auras for SoD coming out soon!

Lastly, I still have outstanding Class updates on SoD, but they're also on the list and trying to get through them where I can!
