I thought it was a nice touch that they brought in the captain's lady in at the end as a yoeman. It was interesting to see her from the more civilized angle, nice juxtaposition.

I wondered what you would think of it as you have said that you really like Deep Space Nine and I have seen several DS9 fans say that they ran that "Mirror Universe" idea into the ground. They went there so often that the actors should have been given frequent flyer miles. They said that the more they used it for stories the less impressive and special it was. I have watched several DS9 episodes over and over again, but I have only done a full run-through of the whole series once (I think.) The main thing that I remember from their Mirror ones was Major Kira wearing something that was very tight-fitting, and her character was quite aggressive. Like you, I also suspect that the actors liked the chance to play their characters differently from the way they normally did every week.
