Also the ticking when they arrived to the water planet (I don’t think you noticed this) represents a day passing on earth with every tick

This is such a stressful movie for me to watch, I guess because I have kids, but I know I have to see what happens. I just have to keep pausing it for a bit and coming back later. Also, have you seen the Martian? (If you know, you know...) You should definitely watch the Martian.

It will always be a great reaction if the creator is able to make me cry a bunch of times, and you managed to get the floodgates open xD I love when a creator can make me feel deeply about a film that I can no longer manage just on my own anymore. I've always found it so weird how you connect to people watching movies for the first time. It's as if you can feel their emotions, and they highten the viewers. Or at least make you feel as they do. It's as if you make me forget I've already seen this movie before as if I watch it through your eyes. Anyway, what I was trying to say is I appreciate your reaction. It was great!

I see other people already suggested Arrival and The Martian, so I'll just loudly and enthusiastically back those up (The Martian is one of my favourite movies of all time!). And I wanna suggest Sunshine from 2007 too, if you want more heavy-ish and engaging space travel sci-fi stuff (and another incredible musical score)!

There are several scenes in this movie that legit give me the willies just watching them. The scene with the huge, slow moving wave, and the image near the end on the baseball field, but when it shows the grass going up, both completely freak me out, but in the best way possible. They're so mind-bending, I almost can't watch them, but I also can't look away. It feels like something in my head is trying to unhitch when I see them. It's awesome. LOL Also, your reaction to the moment when you realize that HE is Murph's ghost is the kind of reactions we live for. So good. After seeing this reaction, I have to highly, highly recommend Arrival. It's another amazing sci-fi film with great acting and standout music, but there is an... I don't know... an artistry to it and an unusual depth to it I think you'd be able to truly appreciate. It's a masterpiece.

Gives me anxiety every time. Loved your reaction when you realized he was her ghost. Always such a fun lightbulb moment among reactors.

This movie is the perfect example of how it is possible to make science interesting and engaging, I wish there were more like it, I’m super glad you enjoyed it.
