UPDATE #1

We have solved the loading problem! In the past versions, loading the game took a hideously long time due to way things were packed inside of the game. Now, we have reduced the loading time from 9+ minutes to about 2~3 minutes tops! We also built a new preloader that's made with scaling up the game in mind. This probably means we're not going to lose so many days anymore in that part of the game's system.

The animation and the beta versions now all carry the preloader. In case you couldn't play them before due to the infinite loading time, now it's your chance.

As you'll see, the preloader is the special "thank-you" part and our idea of a nice surprise for you. It's supposed to run at 60fps with some minor stuttering when the browser's memory management kicks in. If it runs too poorly, please let us know!

Just a quick note: the order of the names is quasi-random, since there's only a dozen of them so far. With more names, we're gonna sort them based on how long they have been with us.

We've managed to squeeze the animation together with the current beta version! Therefore, we're adding it to the Beta version this time only to see if it runs properly on a bigger number of systems. Please try it out and let us know your opinion.

UPDATE #3

We mentioned in the past to make the Beta versions more accessible at least to our patrons, so we're doing it! 

The $10 Tier perk will get you access to the latest Beta version (v0.04 as of this posting), while the $1 Tier or higher will get you the immediately previous version (v0.03).

Now everybody here we'll get a chance to see how the Blair's chapter is coming out, and we'll appreciate any feedback you might have on it.

Finally, a quick Q&A!

Q: I've noticed the preloader looks oddly familiar. Any hints?

A: Hmmm... It's based on an anime's ending credits. An old anime's ending credits. It features a, huh... prancing lion?

Q: I couldn't find the See-Through Spell in the v0.04 Beta. Is it a $15-tier perk exclusive?

A: This is complicated. In short, it shouldn't be exclusive to a pledge-tier. We plan to make all the content of the game fully available through gameplay alone, but for that we need to finish the part of the game that is the actual game. Without it, there's no meaningful progression and no way to gate any content without making it obnoxious. We try our best to reward the pledges the best we can and this is a tricky situation we brought upon ourselves where the only real solution is getting more of the game done faster. That all being said, since we could always use more feedback on how the sex scene was done (both on the tech and art sides), we've added it to v0.04 this time. Y'know, so that it has something to be played for, even if it's still not a lot.

Q: Is that Walking Simulator part just... that?

A: Yeah. It features vector-based collision checking, though. You can test it and see if it works or if you end up walking over the fountain. Blair's core-game-loop is being built on top of that, with spells and crafting and all sorts of fun.
I'd say we're about one week away from having a playable version of it. We tried getting it done this month, but the preloader thingie took more time than we planned.

Going forward, here's the really big news!
By the end of October, the First Chapter will be ready and available!
The deadline has been set, the focus bands are tightened up and we're ready to crunch.

Oh yes, and tomorrow we're gonna post our plans for progression of the game, together with 4~5 new spells that we plan to add and a new tentative art-style for the erotic content, and a makeover!
