The fly trap
Added 2024-04-02 12:58:26 +0000 UTCAshley had been complaining for weeks about the fly problem she was going through at home ... it had become such a nuisance that Dan decided one day to offer his help, and see if he couldn't find the source of the issue.
That same night, after work the two drove to Ashley's appartement, eager to finally solve the mystery. Dan, who had already dealt with such an issue after a mouse had died behind a cabinet in his kitchen, thought the cause could only be something similar in nature.
Searching for what seemed like hours, there was no "dead animal" in sight, however Dan did find what looked like a broken bottle beneath the dresser in her bedroom, trying to securely remove the glass, Ashley surprising him upon entering her bedroom, dropped the glass he'd precariously gathered in the palm of his hand.
Apologetic for being the cause of the incident, Ashley told him to stay there as she went to get the first aid kit in her bathroom, however Dan began to feel nauseous, fainting moments later.
As he opened his eyes once more, he found Ashley looming above him, searching for him ... completely unaware of his presence at her feet.
In that moment, her phone which she'd left in the lounge rung, as she turned around on spot, her giant foot shifted back, pinning Dan's legs beneath it, the immense pressure rendering his flesh and bone to mere pulp.
Unable to move, and passing out from blood loss, his last sight of Ashley was of her removing her clothes, preparing to go to bed.
As the next day came, all that was left of Dan was a body half eaten by the same flies he was trying to remove from Ashley's home.
