This is the animation set for Krista Marshall - your in-game fiancee. She exists, now, and you'll start seeing the evolution of your mutual storyline in upcoming builds.
She's one of the coolest characters I've ever written for, she looks fantastic, and uh... This is one of the major anxieties I had about finishing the game, evaporating away.
Could we pull off a gentle, long-distance romance between two people of color, in this absurd setting? Would she look as great as she deserves? Can I make a game with actual animation? Would Krista's creation do anything to help provide representation that our industry so desperately needs for women of color?
...Could I even communicate to an artist the need for a different body type, being myself a man of color with Extremely Wide Hips?
I'm starting to believe the answer to all of those questions is yes.
