DOGVELOPMENT LOG #8: Candy Plane's Fate

I spent an agonizing series of hours extending the plane system yesterday. Every time you board a flight in Dog Airport Game, there's now a chance you could encounter one of four airlines. 

Combined with the modular randomization affecting your canine fellow passenger, and the different sets of music you can hear on-board these flights, that means a massive increase to the range of experiences you can have on a plane in this game! All while retaining quality and consistency control, which is absolutely not guaranteed when you're working with procedural content!

It took so long to do this, and I am in deep pain!

That said, if I intentionally mess up this system it took me a long, long time to get working, we get some interesting results: a Candy Plane.

The danger of the Candy Plane is obvious. It can produce gorgeous kaleidoscopes - and tacky nightmares. I have seen some truly abysmal results from this particular version of our plane generation system.

However, people on Twitter and the Dog Airport Discord (DAD) liked how it looked sometimes, so what do I know?

I'll leave the fate of the Candy Plane in your hands.
