The new month is upon us and a lot has happened.
I'd like to begin this newsletter by announcing that I have completely redesigned my website. If you'd like to check out the changes yourself, please feel free to do so. In fact, I hope you'll check it out and let me know what you think about my new redesign. Not only has my website undergone a massive aesthetic change, but there are several new features available.
The biggest feature is the ability to buy eBooks directly from me. You no longer have to buy books from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Kobo, Apple, etc. Of course, the option is always still there, and I hope you'll continue to leave reviews on these websites so people who only shop there will know my books are worth reading, but you can buy books directly from me if you want.
Speaking of reviews, if you haven't done so yet, I do hope you'll write up a review for WIEDERGEBURT: Legend of the Reincarnated Warrior: Volume 14 on Amazon. I dislike that company and how they treat authors, but it is the largest ebook retailer in the US. The more reviews my book has on there, the more likely people who haven't read my stories are to buy my books. I also have that goal of finally reaching 1,000 ratings.
Besides my website redesign and my latest WIEDERGEBURT volume coming out, I am pleased to announce that I have signed a contract with Tapas to release American Kitsune as a webtoon. It will be Early Access, meaning you can read for free but pay ink if you'd like to read ahead of the current free chapters. This is similar to Severing Time & Space.
Because American Kitsune is going to become a webcomic, I plan to give patrons first read of it. I've made a few small changes to my tier rewards to accommodate for the new webcomic. Be sure to check your tier and make sure you're getting exactly what you want.
TBH, I have always worried that I'm not giving you guys enough rewards and it's something I struggle with, especially when people leave. I always wonder if maybe I'm not good enough, or if my content isn't good enough? It's hard when you look at creators with thousands of followers while you struggle to keep 300 patrons. But that's also why I'm grateful to the people who stay with me. I hope you will continue to support me so I can make fun content for you.
On that note, I have begun rewriting STnS chapters, and I will be posting the new edits on my Patreon. These rewrites will encompass many small and large changes to improve the story's readability and fix some of the inconsistencies people have commented on.
With that out of the way, let me talk about some of the anime I'm watching. This season is a bit of a mixed bag. There are some good anime but a lot of bland series that didn't catch my attention. Perhaps the weird anime I've seen so far is Onimai, which is just bizarre. It's about a 30-something-year-old man getting turned into a little girl by his scientist sister. I don't think it's for everyone, and I won't lie. Some parts made me uncomfortable. BUT it is hilarious.
I think the series I am liking the most is The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten. The anime is not as good as its light novel counterpart, and it is very obvious the studio is skimping, so the quality isn't what I was hoping for, but it is a very cute series. It's my relaxing slice-of-life romance for the season. I probably would have liked Ayakashi Triangle more, but it's censored on Crunchyroll, so I'm not gonna bother watching it - unless I can find an uncensored version somewhere.
Among this season's anime, here are some I recommend giving a try: The Magical Revolution of the Reincarnated Princess and the Genius Young Lady, Tomo-Chan is a Girl, BOFURI Season 2, Don't Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro Second Attack, In/Spectre Season 2, NieR:Automata Ver1.1a, Is It Wrong to Try to PIck Up Girls in a Dungeon? Season 4 Part 2, Kubo Won't Let Me Be Invisible, and Farming Life in Another World.

I guess when you sell literally everything under the sun in one place, it becomes popular to shop at. I watched So I'm a Spider when it first released. Decent anime. The awful CGI was oddly endearing.

Also even though i dont buy physical books, i do colect sticker so maybe I'll buy some stickers (i stil have some space on my mobilhome where i can put a nice sticker). EBOOKS. I buy my ebooks through google play books so they download on all my devices automatically (i am a lazy person, i know) WIEDERGEBURT. VOL14 I'll start reading it when i finish vol.13 wich apparently i didn't finish yet, but im almost done with that one (and I'm sure vol.14 will be as awesome, if not more awesome, as the rest of the series). AMAZON. I have had a lot of trouble with amazon. I bought stuff that didn't arive, multiple times, and was never compensated or a word of apology or anything. So when the total amount passed 250 bucks, i was like: fuck amzon 凸(`△´＃) and yeah i don't use amazon anymore. AMERICAN KISUNE AS WEBTOON. Can't wait for it, i really like the series. I'm currently at vol.9 ENOUGH REWARDS. In my honest opinion, I'm satisfied with the rewards (maybe you can give a discount for patrons on your website, but it's not something i would quit for if i don't get any) SEVERING TIME. I really like the story so far. I'll read the new edits so i can folow the story better. ONIMAI. I'm reading this series and i actually like it, it's a fun read. Maybe I'll give the anime a watch too. AYAKASHI TRIANGLE. I'm reading this one as well, but put it aside, because i felt like giving "Chibi Vampire" (i believe it's known as "Karin" in the US) a reread. TOMO-CHAN IS A GIRL. This is one i have read and really liked. So i think I'll watch anime as well. AS FOR SERIES I'M READING/WATCHING. I have started to read "so what if im a spider" and have watched the anime, if you dont like spiders, i understand if you dont want to watch this one.

2023-02-02 02:00:33 +0000 UTCThanks for the recs with the anime i hadnt know about some of them, my rec that ive just finished is "Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games Is Tough for Mobs" it strangely has me adicted so much that i watched it in sub then rewatched it in dub had me cracking up each time looking forward to season 2 coming out , second is a chinese donghua called quanzhi fashi its a modern society cultivation series think its worth a watch
