Hi friends,
over the last couple of weeks - especially after the last update - users reported issues related to the generally buggy Meta Room Setup, such as Hotties spawning outside the room or the virtual penis hovering two meters in the air.
Meta’s OS updates over the past months have been nothing short of catastrophic. They seem to roll out four or five versions simultaneously, while users aren’t able to select a specific one. This makes it nearly impossible for us to reproduce bugs and provide fixes.
Nevertheless, we managed to resolve the spawning problem by changing the mechanism: the Hottie now spawns one meter (about 3 ft) in front of your headset at startup. Just make sure you’re not staring at a wall when launching VR HOT ;)
We also made some under-the-hood changes to the Virtual Penis, which appear to have fixed the startup issues. However, since the Room Setup can still interfere, please restart VR HOT every time after opening the Room Setup.

Improvements:
Spawn Point Adjustment – The Hottie now spawns 1 meter (3 ft) in front of the headset at startup.
Body Tracking – The Virtual Penis is now tracked much more accurately.
Bug Fixes:
Fixed manual rotation issues when the Hottie is lying on their back.
Known Issues:
A headset restart after completing the room setup is necessary for the virtual penis to work reliably
Hottie may get stuck in small gaps between walls or furniture
Little green ball from the interaction menu doesn’t vanish after switching from hand tracking to controllers

VR HOT for Quest is MR-only (passthrough). In order to create good looking Hotties we had to get rid of environments and the Player Body. The Quest is not powerful enough to run everything in a decent quality.

Well she can be moved but springs back into position like a chipmunk on caffeine and Crack.... 😆 🤣 Am I missing something. Also, a great feature would be the ability to form the model into what ever position you want, could be a free form setting or toggle. Another thing I've noticed is the grab feature never works for me. I've tried everything. The red thing appears. Hand open into body. Still never works. But sometimes the model will get stuck to my virtual hand without trying. Lol. Also furniture recognition would be great. The model seems to have a hard time with furniture.
